BOOM ADVENTURES
Serving Those Who Serve Us
Providing vets and first responders outdoor bonding experiences and opportunities to confront mental and physical hardships.
Blake Siebrecht served in the Marine Corps from 2004 to 2009. As many vets do, he felt something was missing when he got out. BOOM Adventures started as a small group of veterans going on hunting and fishing tips, and has since evolved into a thriving, local non-profit organization that helps so many.
The mission of BOOM Adventures is to provide a place for veterans and first responders to connect with other people in the field to create a community - providing a cost-free place to go to disconnect with the outside world, and know that they are not alone.
Heading-Off A Silent Killer
Vets and First Responders don't always talk about their experiences, and most who've seen a lot hide it well. It's estimated that 22 veterans a day commit suicide. BOOM Adventures wants to make sure our local heroes are never without a battle buddy or someone to talk to.
Cost-free excursions include hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. These experiences have allowed them to create a community-based group that gives people an opportunity to connect and cope with each other.
BOOM Adventures also gives back by donating half of its harvested meat to help feed children and fellow Veterans.
"BOOM Adventures is a non-profit organization created to give back to our Veterans, active members of the military, and First Responders by providing outdoor bonding experiences and opportunities to confront mental and physical hardships.
By creating relaxing, memorable experiences with family, we proudly show our support for these local heroes on a personal level, allowing them to communicate freely and effectively."
