How to Shoot Content We Can Use

CURRENT PRIORITY: RAW VIDEO

We're looking for raw, authentic video of Vycah gear being used in the field. You don't need a harvested deer, professional camera equipment, or a scripted presentation. The Vycah gear is the subject. If we can clearly see the gear and how it performs in a real outdoor environment, we can turn simple footage into great marketing content.

1

Show the Gear in Action

Our #1 Priority — Raw Video
  • Sitting or moving in a treestand
  • Reaching into pockets
  • Climbing into or out of a stand
  • Adjusting hood, cuffs or layers
  • Drawing your bow
  • Putting gear on at the truck
  • Walking through timber or brush
  • Quiet movement in the woods
  • Glasses/binoculars up and down
  • Any real hunting activity
Helpful Tip: You don't have to talk. 10–30 seconds of clean footage showing Vycah gear naturally being used can be extremely valuable.
2

Show Us Why It Works

Features & Product Details
  • Quiet fabric
  • Zippers & closures
  • Pocket placement
  • Warmth / breathability
  • Fit & mobility
  • Drawing a bow unrestricted
  • Layering
  • Close-ups of materials
  • Hood design
  • Any feature you like
Helpful Tip: Don't give us a commercial. Talk like you would to a hunting buddy — or skip the talking altogether and show the feature in action.
3

The Gear Is the Content

What Makes Footage Usable
✓ Yes — Usable Content
  • Vycah clearly visible
  • Natural outdoor setting
  • Vertical video (9:16)
  • Steady footage
  • Different angles
  • Real hunting activity
  • Raw, unedited clips
× Not Very Useful
  • Distant hunter
  • Gear hidden by vest/harness
  • Scenery with no product
  • Deer-only footage
  • Long talking videos
  • Kill photos where the gear isn't visible
Helpful Tip: A deer does not need to be in the shot. Harvest photos are great memories, but they often give us very little usable marketing content.
Before You Hit Record
Ask yourself one question: "Can someone watching this clearly see Vycah?"
If the answer is yes, shoot it.
Shoot More Than One Clip.
If you're climbing into your stand, give us 3–4 short clips: walking toward the stand, climbing, settling in, and sitting ready.
Don't try to make a finished video — we'll do that part.
Remember: you're not trying to create the ad. You're giving us the raw footage we need to create it.

Content Tips

Use natural light. Keep clips vertical when possible. Show the hunt, not just the product. Short, authentic video usually beats polished commercial-style footage.
